3D Center has shared the latest retail price trends for NVIDIA and AMD’s latest graphics cards in the German market. Contrary to recent, positive reports that alluded to a continuing downward trend in pricing for GeForce RTX 30 Series and AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series GPUs, the new data unfortunately suggests that costs could be going up again. The major pricing declines that sparked off in May appear to have ended, and worse, select models such as the Radeon RX 6700 XT and GeForce RTX 3070 have reportedly exhibited slight but observable increases in pricing. Previous trends suggested that graphics cards would finally come closer to MSRP by the beginning of August, but it’s unclear when that might happen now.

It is possible that the graphics card prices, which had fallen sharply compared to May, now looked too tempting for some graphics card buyers. Apparently, Germany was also a pioneer in terms of price, in other regions of the world the price level shown here has still not been reached (for a long time) – but this also means that wholesalers prefer to deliver to where higher selling prices are and not as much stock is available as in Germany, Austria.
