Halo Infinite’s multiplayer technical preview is currently live, but Halo Insiders and other fans who weren’t selected for the beta might be able to experience the full version of the game sooner than expected. In a tweet regarding a curious collaboration with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, the official Xbox Mexico account seemingly revealed that Halo Infinite would be released within four months. “Why wait for November if we can start the festivities now?” a tweet reads, noting that a special edition Halo Infinite donut with Master Chief helmet and blue frosting will be available July 30. While it’s entirely possible that Xbox Mexico could simply be referring to Halo’s 20th anniversary (Halo: Combat Evolved debuted on Xbox consoles on November 15, 2001), Halo Infinite dropping in November would make plenty of sense. 343 Industries’ Joseph Staten has already confirmed that Halo Infinite would be released this holiday season.

Speaking on behalf of the whole Halo Infinite team, we’re honored to share our work with you today as we close in on the launch of Halo Infinite this Holiday. We’ve got a lot more to share with you over the coming months, but more importantly there’s so much for you to discover for yourself when the game comes out. Zeta Halo is almost ready for you to explore, and I hope you’re as excited as we are for all the adventures in store.
