ASUS has published the product page for one of its latest high-end AMD motherboards designed for Ryzen processors, the ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme. Carrying a sleek, black design with RGB accents, ASUS’s ROG Crosshair VII Extreme motherboard offers a variety of key features that should satisfy overclockers and more demanding users, such as 18+2 power stages, five M.2 slots, and a comprehensive thermal design including VRM heat sinks, a high-conductivity thermal pad, ROG Water-Cooling zone, and more to keep temperatures in check. In addition to expected connectivity options such as USB 3.2 Gen 2, ASUS’s ROG Crosshair VII Extreme also features dual Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports, which seems to be a rarity among AMD motherboards. ASUS will presumably provide details on pricing and availability for this premium motherboard soon.
