Crytek has released a new trailer that shows off what the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions of its upcoming Crysis remasters look like compared to their originals running on Microsoft’s classic Xbox 360 console.

As Crysis fans would like to imagine, the remastered versions of Crytek’s sci-fi shooters look a ton better than their original counterparts thanks to modern updates that Crytek has applied to all three games. These include high-definition textures and 4K Ultra HD resolution at up to 60 FPS on the Xbox Series X.

Announced on June 1, 2021 and developed in partnership with Sabre Interactive, Crytek’s Crysis Remastered Trilogy comprises remastered versions of all three of its original Crysis games: Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3. The new bundle will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms this fall (Crytek hasn’t provided an exact release date yet).

From the makers of Far Cry, Hunt: Showdown and CRYENGINE, Crysis offers first person shooter fans the best-looking, evolved, and innovative gameplay, enabling players to adapt in real time to survive. Crysis Remastered brings new graphic features, high-quality textures, and the CRYENGINE’s native hardware- and API-agnostic ray tracing solution.
