Warner Bros. Releases Full-Length Trailer for The Batman

Warner Bros. has released a full-length trailer for its latest live-action take on the Dark Knight, The Batman. Directed by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, the new trailer offers a good glimpse at Selina Kyle/Catwoman, who’s being played by Zoe Kravitz, as well as other classic Batman characters such as Edward Nashton/Riddler (Paul Dano) and Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin (Colin Farrell). The Batman will be released exclusively in theaters on March 4, 2022.

The Batman’s notable cast, as shared by Warner Bros.:

Starring alongside Pattinson (“Tenet,” “The Lighthouse”) as Gotham’s famous and infamous cast of characters are Zoë Kravitz (“Big Little Lies,” “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”) as Selina Kyle; Paul Dano (“Love & Mercy,” “12 Years a Slave”) as Edward Nashton; Jeffrey Wright (“No Time to Die,” “Westworld”) as the GCPD’s James Gordon; John Turturro (the “Transformers” films, “The Plot Against America”) as Carmine Falcone; Peter Sarsgaard (“The Magnificent Seven,” “Interrogation”) as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson; Jayme Lawson (“Farewell Amor”) as mayoral candidate Bella Reál; with Andy Serkis (the “Planet of the Apes” films, “Black Panther”) as Alfred; and Colin Farrell (“The Gentlemen,” “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”) as Oswald Cobblepot.

The Batman is directed off of a screenplay by Matt Reeves and Peter Craig. Composing the score is Michael Giacchino, the Oscar-winning composer behind movies such as The Incredibles, Jurassic World, and Mission: Impossible III.
