NVIDIA Releases GeForce RTX Trailer for Battlefield 2042, Demonstrating PC Version with Ray Tracing and DLSS

NVIDIA has uploaded a new GeForce RTX trailer that demonstrates how some of its modern technologies will be put to use in EA and DICE’s latest Battlefield title, Battlefield 2042. The trailer confirms that the shooter will feature ray tracing in the form of ray-traced ambient occlusion (RTAO), as well as DLSS for a substantial boost in performance. Battlefield 2042 players with NVIDIA GeForce RTX cards will also be able to enable NVIDIA Reflex for lower latency and greater response.

Early Access for Battlefield 2042 starts November 12th, and thanks to our partnership with EA and DICE, it’s loaded with PC-exclusive NVIDIA enhancements that’ll improve your experience. Battlefield 2042 will be released on November 19, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Origin, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
