Quantic Dream’s rumored Star Wars game is reportedly called Star Wars Eclipse. The name comes from GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb, who claims that the game is “likely going to show up somewhere soon,” opening up the possibility of a potential unveil during The Game Awards 2021 show. Star Wars Eclipse is said to take place during the High Republic era.

From Wookieepedia:

The High Republic Era was a period of time that lasted for around two hundred years between approximately 300 BBY and 82 BBY in which the Galactic Republic was said to be at its height. It was also a golden age for the Jedi, who were significantly more active throughout the galaxy, and a time of expansion and exploration in the Outer Rim Territories.

Grubb did not have any gameplay details to share, but previous rumors have suggested that the game will deviate heavily from Quantic Dream’s previous titles (e.g., Heavy Rain, Detroit: Become Human), which leaned heavily on quick-time events to drive the story. Sources claim that Star Wars Eclipse will be an action-adventure game with an open world and some sort of multiplayer component.
