Oops Leaks has shared new details pertaining to the fourth installment of 2K Games’ dystopian first-person shooter series, BioShock. According to the leaker, the next game is tentatively called BioShock Isolation and being developed in Unreal Engine 5 by veterans of Irrational Games, the studio responsible for the original BioShock and BioShock Infinite. BioShock Isolation will supposedly be announced in Q1 2022.

From Oops Leaks:

Concept artists, environment artists, modelers, VFX specialists and level designers who worked on Watch Dogs: Legion, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Mafia 3, and so on are involved in the creation of the game. I didn’t mean that the game will be made by their teams completely.

I cannot know the relationship between Sony and 2K, but I know that the development of the game is aimed to release on both PC and console, so I cannot confirm the exclusivity of the new #Bioshock for PS5.

A slide shared by Oops Leaks suggests that BioShock Isolation will feature two cities unlike its predecessors, which were situated firmly in Rapture or Columbia. Another reveals that developer Cloud Chamber Games is drawing inspiration from classic works such as Citizen Kane.

BioShock Isolation’s release could be complemented by a remastered version of the original. That’s according to NVIDIA’s leaked list of GeForce NOW games, which includes entries for a “BioShock 2022” and “BioShock RTX remaster.”
