Leakers have shared the alleged release dates of NVIDIA and AMD’s upcoming graphics cards for budget gamers. According to hongxing2020, the GeForce RTX 3050 will release on January 27, which is quite a bit sooner than the originally rumored Q2 2022 time frame. Recent reports suggest that this model will feature 8 GB of memory just like the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, GeForce RTX 3070, and GeForce RTX 3060 Ti.

Another habitual leaker, Enthusiastic Citizen, claims to know the release dates of not one but two of AMD’s upcoming entry-level RDNA 2 graphics cards. The AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT will supposedly be released in mid-January 2022, while the even weaker Radeon RX 6400 will debut around two months later in March. Both cards are expected to feature 4 GB of memory.

A machine translation of Enthusiastic Citizen’s post on Bilibili:

Next year AMD will have two new GPUs, 6500XT and 6400, Navi 24. Both of these cards will have 4G video memory, so ETH cannot be mined, and 6400 will have no external power supply.

The 6500XT will be available in mid-January, and the 6400 will be available in March.

All of these cards should be ideal for budget gamers who have grown accustomed to 1080p gaming. An additional value option will come in the form of Intel’s Arc A380 graphics card, according to a recent tweet from APISAK.
