Epic Games has shared a teaser confirming the upcoming release of The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience, an interactive feature for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles that will complement this month’s debut of The Matrix Resurrections and demonstrate what Epic’s new game engine might mean for the future of storytelling and entertainment.

The teaser lives up to its name by being super vague, but it does include what appears to be a completely virtual version of actor Keanu Reeves, who plays Thomas Anderson/Neo in the Matrix films. Epic Games’ Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience is already available for pre-download on the PlayStation and Microsoft stores.
