A contributor on China’s IT Home website has shared what appears to be the first definitive proof of NVIDIA’s upcoming uber flagship, the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti.

As indicated in an image (that hopefully isn’t just a clever Photoshop), ASUS will be releasing a TUF Gaming version of the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti that features the branding’s typical black and steel-like shroud design. Unfortunately, the owner did not share other angles of the packaging, which might have been useful for confirming some of the new BFGPU’s specifications.

“IT House has reported that Nvidia’s upcoming RTX 3090 Ti 24G will be equipped with Micron’s 21Gbps GDDR6X video memory,” reads a machine translation of a portion of IT Home’s article detailing the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti’s purported specs. “It is also the first product equipped with Micron’s 16Gb (2GB) 21Gbps GDDR6X video memory.”

“In terms of parameters, it is reported that the RTX 3090 Ti has a 10752 CUDA core, 24GB 21Gbps GDDR6X video memory, and the default TDP is 450W , which is 100W more than the RTX 3090.”

NVIDIA is expected to announce the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti on January 4, 2022, a day before CES 2022 commences. A leaked embargo document also suggests that the card will go on sale on January 27, although it’s unclear how many there will be to go around.
