The seventh title that the Epic Games Store is giving away as part of its 15 Days of Free Games promotion is Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, a title developed by Swedish studio The Bearded Ladies.

Originally released in December 2018 and published by Funcom, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a tactical turn-based combat game that takes inspiration from the XCOM franchise but switches things up with a cast that includes anthropomorphic characters such as a boar (Bormin) and duck (Dux). Epic Games Store users have until tomorrow (12/23/21) at 11:00 a.m. (EST) to grab the game at no cost.

“Mankind has been eradicated by climate change, nuclear war, and pandemics,” reads a game description. “Will your team of mutants survive the Zone? Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a tactical adventure game combining turn-based combat with real-time exploration, story, stealth, and strategy.”

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden normally retails for $34.99. Corruption 2029, another turn-based game from The Bearded Ladies set in a dystopian America, is also available on the Epic Games Store for $19.99.
