The first screenshots for FromSoftware’s upcoming Armored Core title have leaked online, confirming that a new mech-based action title from the developer behind the Dark Souls and Bloodborne games is on the way.

There are 16 images in total, many of which offer a peek at the new mech designs that FromSoftware has designed for the game and some of the futuristic environments that players will presumably be able to travel to and battle in. The screenshots were shared by Red Liquorice, a member of the ResetEra forums who was the first to confirm the existence of a new Armored Core by sharing a consumer survey regarding the game over the weekend.

There hasn’t been a new Armored Core game since Armored Core: Verdict Day, the 15th installment of the franchise that released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles on September 2013. It’s unclear when FromSoftware plans to unveil the next one, but its next project, Elden Ring, will be released on February 25, 2022.
