GPU Frequency – Power – Temperature

On this page, we are going to look at the actual frequency of the Integrated Graphics and see what they are running at and if it is consistent. We are also going to compare power utilization and temperature between both iGPUs.

Intel Core i9-12900K with Intel UHD Graphics 770

On the Intel Core i9-12900K the Intel UHD Graphics 770 should be running at 1550MHz maximum turbo frequency while gaming.

Intel Core i9-12900K with Intel UHD Graphics 770 Default GPU Frequency graph

In the graph above we found that the GPU clock speed for the Intel UHD Graphics 770 on the 12900K does indeed stay consistent at 1550MHz the entire time. This means it doesn’t fluctuate or throttle at all while gaming and the full 1550MHz it should be running at is there.

Power and Temp

HWiNFO64 has many readings in regards to temperatures and power reported for various aspects of the CPUs. We will simply list what HWiNFO64 said during us running a long manual run-through playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 720p. Below are the temperatures and Wattages recorded for the entire run on the 12900K with Intel UHD 770.

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with AMD Radeon RX Vega 8

The maximum turbo frequency that the Vega 8 should be running at on the 5700G is 2000MHz (2GHz).

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 Default GPU Frequency Graph

In the graph above we can see that the Radeon RX Vega 8 is indeed running at 2000MHz and staying consistent the entire time. It does not throttle or change performance, we get the full 2GHz frequency the entire time while playing.
