Universal Studios Hollywood is sure to be a popular destination for Nintendo fans next year, as the gaming giant confirmed this week that the U.S.’ first Super Nintendo World will open at the Los Angeles-based theme park in 2023. Nintendo’s article is pretty worthless in terms of what attractions visitors can expect, but if it’s anything like the one that opened to rave reviews at Universal Studios Japan, attendees should be able to experience Mario Kart in real life as part of an augmented-reality ride experience, explore the halls of Bowser’s Castle, and more. Universal Studios Hollywood will be hyping up Super Nintendo World ahead of its opening by transforming its Feature Presentation retail store into a place stocked with all kinds of Nintendo merchandise, including Mario and Luigi apparel and Yoshi plushies.
