Have you ever been in the middle of a build and thought to yourself, “Man, what this system could really use is some genuine cowhide.” Of course you have, which is why a Hong Kong company by the name of Geometric Future has unveiled a case that offers exactly that.

As spotted by local outlet HKEPC, Geometric Future has introduced the Model 8 Cowboy, an attractive PC case that happens to feature real, 2-millimeter-thick leather on the top I/O panel and side panels. In terms of dimensions, the case is pretty roomy at 500 x 230 x 500 mm (19.7 x 9.1 x 19.7 inches), able to fit up to E-ATX motherboards in addition to the usual ATX, Micro ATX, and Mini ITX varieties. The Model 8 Cowboy also supports vertical installation of graphics cards for users who want a better view of their shrouds and fans.

Geometric Future can confirm that the leather on the Model 8 Cowboy is real cow leather, meaning that the color will deepen over time, although owners will probably want to keep it out of the sun in order to prevent cracking and other sorts of unsightly damage. HKEPC also reports that it will give off a leather smell, something that is sure to boost the immersion of Westerns like Red Dead Redemption 2.

The Model 8 Cowboy costs HK$1,099, which translates to around $140.

The vertical air duct design that turns 90° to the right greatly improves the heat dissipation and expansion capacity. The price is HK$1,099, which is full of fun.

In order to highlight the beauty of the RAW material, Model 8 Cowboy specially adds 2mm top layer cowhide to the top I/O Panel and the top of the tempered glass panel on the left and right sides. It will give off a leather smell, which is in strong contrast with the aluminum alloy panel.

Because it is real cow leather, the leather color of the Model 8 Cowboy will gradually deepen over time, and gradually evolve into a charming and charming texture. Keep in mind that the cowhide should not be exposed to the sun, washed and fired as much as possible. Wipe off the stain with a damp cloth.

  1. Looks like you'd get the same amount of air flow from a normal cow as well.

7 very free-flowing fan slots isnt enough for you..? The Lian Li 011D and 011 Evo and the 011 Mini (three of the best cases for cooling/airflow) have 9, and have a much less straight-forward airflow path. This case should cool quite well unless the included fans suck and you aren't using nice fans yourself.

Didn't say it was a bad case. The looks and functionality aren't for everyone, don't take it personally.

If you haven’t been up close and personal with a cow lately - you would be surprised. They fart and belch enough that it’s like wind tunnel from both ends

Yes I agree. I grew up a country boy, and had the experience of helping my neighbor with his veal cows. That in itself was an experience, seeing as they are on a liquid diet only.
