Those of you who are wild enough to make a 97-inch 4K OLED TV your next gaming monitor might be interested to know that LG has finally revealed the pricing for its massive display.
LG’s 97-inch G2 is expected to launch in Europe in the second half of the year for around 25,000 Euros (~$27,600), according to an exchange between FlatpanelsHD and the manufacturer. The US price is expected to differ slightly from the UK price, but it should still fall within the same eye-watering range. All of LG Display’s OLED TV panels are produced in its two 8.5G factories, which are located in Paju, South Korea, and Guangzhou, China.
Compared to LG’s 77-inch and 83-inch OLED TVs, the 97-inch model’s price tag is significantly higher than expected. The 77-inch and 88-inch models of LG’s C1 displays can currently be purchased from the company’s online store for $2,799.99 and $4,799.99, respectively.
