MSI has announced the SPATIUM M480 PLAY, a PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD with a custom heat sink branded with the manufacturer’s well-known shield and logo. The SPATIUM M480 PLAY features sequential read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s, sequential write speeds of up to 6,8000 MB/s, and comes in four storage capacities: 500 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB. MSI hasn’t shared their pricing or dates of availability.

  1. Looks like a nice NVMe. I was considering one of these, but went with the Corsair Pro XT instead. The MSI was normal price, but the Corsair went on sale to about the same price so I grabbed that one.
