AMD’s upcoming Radeon RX 6900 XT refresh is able to best NVIDIA’s flagship GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card, according to newly leaked 3DMark benchmarks that offer a glimpse at the potential performance of red team’s refreshed Radeon RX 6000 Series. According to the numbers shared by Wccftech, the AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT is able to attain a score as high as 22,209 on 3DMark’s Time Spy test, which is quite a bit higher than what the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti could muster (20,855). The benchmarks also demonstrate how the Radeon RX 6750 XT and Radeon RX 6650 XT might compare to their standard siblings.

The benchmarks include results from all three cards within various 3DMark Synthetic benchmarks such as Time Spy, Fire Strike, 11, and Port Royal. First up, we have 3DMark Time Spy where the RX 6950 XT is faster than the NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti, RX 6750 XT is faster than the RTX 3070 Ti and the RX 6650 XT is faster than the RTX 3060. Do note that we also compared the RTX 3090 Ti with a heavy overclock of around 2200 MHz and memory clocked in at 23.5 Gbps. The RTX 3090 Ti scores 22408 points in the graphics test which is a 1% increase over the 6950 XT running at reference clocks. The Radeon graphics card will have no problem surpassing this performance with a minor overclock to the GPU and memory.

I suppose if you're considering a 3090ti or a 6950 you're interested in these numbers. But really if you're comparing those two just wait or you will be slapped in the face with buyers remorse.

I mean, that's great and all. My 6900xt does great in Time Spy as well.

Only one problem.

No one plays Time Spy.

I'm going to channel my inner old school Kyle and say that all canned benchmarks can suck it.

No remorse here. I don't plan on upgrading anything in my set up for quite some time.

Still looking to replace my 4GB 570 with a 6700XT or 6750XT but that's not happening until the prices come down to a more reasonable level, despite what all these techtubers etc.. claim, prices are still 50% or more over MSRP.
