AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT Beats NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 in Leaked First-Party Gaming Benchmarks

Today marks the arrival of another big leak that reveals the potential gaming and ray tracing performance of AMD’s refreshed Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards. The new RDNA 2 flagship, the Radeon RX 6950 XT, will be able to outperform NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090 in most of today’s hottest games in 4K, according to first-party benchmarks leaked by Wccftech. This card is also supposedly capable of beating the GeForce RTX 3090’s ray tracing performance in Far Cry 6 and F1 2021 in 1440p. AMD’s Radeon 6850 XT and Radeon RX 6750 XT will reportedly cost $1,099 and $549, respectively, while the Radeon RX 6650 XT will be priced at $399.

Compared to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090, this is a performance improvement of 11% which is the same performance level as the RTX 3090 TI. The RTX 3090 retails at $1499 US while the RTX 3090 Ti retails at $1999 US. So you are looking at a much cheaper price with higher gaming performance. At the same time, we are looking at a 4% performance boost over the Radeon RX 6900 XT for $100 US more (MSRP).
