Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Will Begin Streaming on Disney+ June 22

Disney has shared an article confirming that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be available to stream on Disney+ beginning June 22. Directed by Sam Raimi and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, and Xochitl Gomez, Marvel Studios’ latest blockbuster has earned over $879 million at the worldwide box office since its release early last month, according to Box Office Mojo. Doctor Strange fans who haven’t seen the film yet can look forward to a feature with many of Raimi’s trademark horror elements, as well as a series of exciting cameo appearances from popular Marvel characters that haven’t officially made their way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet. Thor: Love and Thunder, Marvel’s next potential hit, will be released in theaters on July 8, 2022.

In Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll, Scott Derrickson and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron. “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” released in U.S. theaters on May 6, 2022.
