Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap and Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms DLC are currently free to claim on the Epic Games Store.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap is an action platformer with hand-drawn graphics. Players take the role of a “half-human, half-lizard monstrosity” who goes on an adventure to find a magical item that can remove any curse and return them back to human form. The game is developed by Lizardcube, whose past projects include Streets of Rage 4.

Cursed into a half-human, half-lizard monstrosity by the Meka-Dragon, you are in search for a cure! The only way you can return to human form is to find the Salamander Cross, a magical item with the power to remove curses…

With each dragon slain, the curse intensifies, transforming you into different animals! Explore large, interconnected locations populated with grumpy monsters and exotic dragons!

Play as the game’s classic character, Hu-Man, or as his brand-new, long-awaited co-star Hu-Girl. You can also inhabit Lizard-Man, Mouse-Man, Piranha-Man, Lion-Man, and Hawk-Man, and use their unique abilities to uncover the land’s deepest secrets.

Enjoy 3 difficulty levels catering to players of all types, and switch from modern graphics and sound to 8-bit graphics/audio at any time — even during gameplay!

The other freebie is Baeloth’s Gladiators of the Black Pits Pack, DLC content for Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms, a Dungeons & Dragons game from the developers at Codename Entertainment. The DLC is valued at over $100 and comprises unlocks for a series of Champions, numerous chests, an exclusive skin, and more.

“Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is a Dungeons & Dragons strategy management game uniting characters from throughout the D&D multiverse into a grand adventure,” reads a description for the game.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap and the Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms DLC are free to claim until July 21 at 11:00 a.m. (EST).

The Epic Games Store’s next free titles are Shop Titans and Tannenberg, a World War I game that supports up to 64 players.
