Paramount Pictures has released a new official trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor among Thieves that is scheduled for a March 2023 theatrical release. Fans of D&D will likely recognize many of its creatures but most notably one that has largely escaped television and movies will make its big screen debut; the ferocious Owlbear. There are, of course, dragons, a number of other monsters, magic users, swords, and sorcery. Past D&D movies have not fared very well in theaters, or with direct-to-home releases, but the new trailer is giving fans some hope and has already been viewed nearly 8 million times. The overall reception from posts on the internet is that the trailer looks far better than most were expecting.
Directors Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley have chosen a comedic approach with Chris Pine as a Bard leading a group of thieves that have stolen a powerful magic item only to find out after they’ve successfully completed their mission that it will be used to rule the world. Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Hugh Grant, Daisy Head, and Chloe Coleman also star.
A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.

Uuuuhhhh I didn't know someone was making a f*cking D&D movie.
Me neither, although I thought I heard something last year and then forgot about it, so it was a fun surprise when I came across this trailer this morning and saw people talking about it. I'm actually looking forward to it and I usually dread these things.
Have to admit it was not what I was expecting. A bit CGI heavy but looks like it could be a fun watch. Looking forward to it hitting streaming
