Take-Two Interactive has announced that it has yet again pushed Marvel’s Midnight Suns release date back. It had been announced in June that it would release on October 4 but the team behind the game has said that they need more time in order to ensure the best possible experience for the fans. Presently the game, which was originally revealed in August 2021, is now expected to launch sometime in Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal year which ends on March 31, 2023.

An internal slide from Take-Two Interactive’s Fiscal first quarter report has been updated with the new release date changes. It now shows Marvel’s Midnight Suns release date as FY2023 for PC and current Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo consoles but also aligns with the latest statement showing versions for older consoles having been changed to “To be announced”. Another source has confirmed this with a slide from a conference call. This is, unfortunately, for older console owners, becoming a more common trend as developers work to get out their latest, and often delayed, titles for the newest generations.
It's not just that Midnight Suns was just delayed (the dev team getting more time is great)

.. it's that its PC/PS5/Xbox Series versions were delayed to later in fiscal 2023 (by March 31, 2023) but that the Switch and old-gen console versions now have no release date. Yikes pic.twitter.com/rNZ3xxzLok
