343 Industries has launched the Winter Update for Halo Infinite, introducing a number of exciting features to tempt players back to its sci-fi shooter. Headlining the Winter Update is the addition of the hotly anticipated Campaign Network Co-Op mode, which allows Halo Infinite players to join up with like-minded Spartans to tackle the game’s story mode challenges with up to three of their friends. Campaign Network Co-Op for Halo Infinite supports crossplay across all Xbox devices and PC, and progress and unlocks are shared across all players, 343 Industries noted.

Halo Infinite’s Winter Update features include:

  • 24 new achievements
  • Forge Beta with six canvas maps, new visual scripting engine
  • New Battle Pass with 30 tiers of rewards
  • Match XP Beta: XP for completing matches, additional XP for performance
  • New maps (Argyle, Detachment) and mode (Covert One Flag)
  • Playlists have received a rotational rework to keep things fresh

Notes on Halo Infinite’s Campaign Network Co-Op mode and mission replay, per Halo Waypoint:

Whether you’re stepping into the legendary Mjolnir-clad boots of the Master Chief for the first time or making your return to Zeta Halo, you can jump in with up to three of your friends and experience the epic Halo Infinite campaign together in Campaign Network Co-Op.

Campaign Network Co-Op for Halo Infinite supports crossplay across all Xbox devices and PC, and progress and unlocks are shared across all players. This means that no matter what platform you’re playing on and where you are in the game, all players bring their progress with them—campaign completion, collectibles unlocked, Spartan Cores unlocked, etc—and all players progress together so it’s not just the host who benefits, but everybody.

Should you find yourself wanting to relive a specific part of the odyssey from the Warship Gbraakon to the Silent Auditorium, or if you need to clear up some outstanding collectibles and Achievements, you can replay any of the missions from the TACMAP.
