Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun and Alba – A Wildlife Adventure are currently free to claim through the Epic Games Store. The former is a “hardcore” tactical stealth game set in Japan from the Munich-based developers at Mimimi Games (Desperados III), while the latter is a feel-good “chillectathon” from ustwo games that stars a girl who goes adventuring around a Mediterranean Island, featuring cartoony graphics. Both are available to claim until 11/17 at 11:00 a.m. EST, after which the next Epic Games Store freebies, Dark Deity and Evil Dead: The Game, will be available.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun

Take control of a team of deadly specialists and sneak in the shadows between dozens of enemies. Choose your approach when infiltrating mighty castles, snowy monasteries or hidden camps. Set traps, poison your opponents or completely avoid enemy contact.

Working together as a team seems impossible at first. Yet over the course of many missions, trust is won and friendships are made. The characters develop their own dynamic and each member will have to face their own personal demons.

Alba – A Wildlife Adventure

Join Alba as she visits her grandparents on a Mediterranean island. She is ready for a peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines, but when she sees an animal in danger, she realises she needs to do something about it.

This is truly a Mediterranean paradise if you ignore all the litter! From the idyllic beaches to the ancient castle overlooking the town a whole island is ready to be explored. With Ines and your grandfather – who is a total bird nerd – by your side, you can start the movement to save the island. Maybe even the world after that.
