The Dark Pictures Anthology’s next chapter is Directive 8020, according to a teaser trailer for the game that has been leaked ahead of tomorrow’s release of The Devil in Me, the latest installment in Supermassive Games’ anthology series of interactive drama survival horror video games.

Shared by Slimpy, the trailer can confirm that Directive 8020 will be another game in the Dark Pictures Anthology that attempts to blend science fiction with horror, taking players to a damaged spaceship called the CDC Cassiopeia that’s haunted by some unknown terror.

“After successfully rendezvousing with the Charybdis marker, we have detached the booster ring and the spirits are high, as we make our final approach to Tau Ceti F,” says Commander Stafford of the forward reconnaissance vessel Cassiopeia.

“The ship has suffered a hull impact, but damage is minimal, and our technicians are restoring full functionality,” Stafford adds, before the narration switches over to another character named Thomas Carter, who says that “something’s wrong with Simms” and that they’re trying to kill him before the transmission cuts out.

The teaser then ends with Stafford saying that their “next transmission will be broadcast from orbit around humanity’s future home.”

The Devil in Me, the final chapter in the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology, launches tomorrow for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

The Quarry, an interactive horror video game that Supermassive Games released in June centered on a group of teenage camp counselors, is currently 54% off at Green Man Gaming ($27).
