The 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900KS will cost quite a bit more than the Core i9-13900K, according to an early listing from PC-Canada spotted by @momomo_us that suggests the upcoming flagship desktop CPU, which boasts boost clocks of up to 6 GHz right out of the box, will cost $971.99 CAD.

Two derivatives of the Core i9-13900 (BX8071513900F and BX8071513900) are listed at PC-Canada for $781.99 and $818.99, respectively, hinting at premiums of over 20% for the Core i9-13900KS.

Alleged benchmarks for the supercharged Raptor Lake processor surfaced on China’s Bilibili just a day after Intel launched its 13th Gen Intel Core processor family on September 27, suggesting that the chip can reach 982.5 in CPU-Z’s single-core test and 18,453 in its multi-core test.

13th Gen Intel Core non-K “Raptor Lake” processors and B760 motherboards are reportedly launching on January 3, 2023, although it’s unclear whether the Core i9-13900KS will premiere on the same date.

The Core i9-13900KS is expected to face fierce competition from AMD’s next Zen 4 desktop processors, which are rumored to include Ryzen 7000X3D Series SKUs with 3D V-Cache Technology.
