ASUS has updated the product specifications for its TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT OC Edition 20GB GDDR6 and TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition 24GB GDDR6 graphics cards, revealing their official boost clocks and game clocks.

ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX OC Edition 24GB GDDR6

  • OC mode : up to 2615 MHz (Boost Clock)/up to 2455 MHz (Game Clock)
  • Default mode : up to 2565 MHz (Boost Clock)/up to 2395 MHz (Game Clock)

The numbers would suggest that ASUS’s TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 OC Edition graphics cards will offer clocks that are up to nearly 9% higher than what AMD is offering with its reference Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT models, which are listed with 2.3 and 2.0 GHz game clocks, respectively.

ASUS and other leading board partners, including ASRock, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX, and Yeston are expected to release their first Radeon RX 7900 Series graphics cards in mid-December.

ASUS hasn’t confirmed the price of its TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX/XT OC Edition graphics cards, but the reference Radeon RX 7900 XTX has an SEP of $999 USD, while the reference Radeon RX 7900 XT has an SEP of $899 USD.

“As the new frontrunner in our Radeon RX graphics card family, the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX pushes the series to new performance heights,” ASUS wrote of its first RDNA 3 graphics cards for gamers. “This 3.63-slot card offers a whopping 6,144 stream processors. For those looking for gobs of bandwidth and plentiful pools of VRAM, the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX offers both: 24GB of GDDR6 and a 384-bit memory interface, to be precise.”
