ASRock will be announcing new Radeon RX 7900 Taichi and Phantom Gaming graphics cards very soon, according to new photos that surfaced online today teasing new triple-fan and “at least triple-slot” custom RDNA 3 GPUs from the company.

  • Minor cosmetic differences between Phantom Gaming XTX and XT
  • Phantom Gaming GPUs feature mostly black design rather than black and silver
  • Taichi is the premium option, will reportedly feature three 8-pin power connectors
  • None of the cards appear to have a USB Type-C port

ASRock launched its new OC Formula, Phantom Gaming, and Challenger series products based on AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT, and AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT GPUs in May 2022, then-new graphics cards that leverage AMD’s RDNA 2 gaming architecture and feature high-bandwidth, low-latency AMD Infinity Cache memory technology, and 18 Gbps GDDR6 memory.

Succeeding those will be the Radeon RX 7900 Taichi and Phantom Gaming options above, which should be announced next week based on AMD’s statement that Radeon RX 7900 Series graphics cards will be available from leading board partners, including ASRock, in mid-December.

The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX has an SEP of $999 USD, while the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT has an SEP of $899 USD.
