JSAUX has begun taking pre-orders for the ModCase PC0104, a modular case for Steam Deck that comprises a cover, protective case, bracket, and HUB that can be further outfitted with various other components for enhanced functionality, including a cooler, M.2 slot, and powerbank kit.

“This standing case consists of a front and a back hard case that covers the whole handheld except for its buttons, joysticks, triggers, its air vent, and the input/output ports,” JSAUX explained in a press release. “The product also features two slots in the back cover to assemble its own aluminum stand (modular slider) and a flexible band designed to fasten other useful accessories for Steam Deck. Both pieces are included in the pack.”

The basic set is available for pre-order ahead of its expected shipment date of January 6, while the cooler kit and hub kits have been listed at the discounted prices of $49.99 USD and $79.99 USD, respectively, as part of the electronics brand’s holiday promotions.

JSAUX’s modular case for Steam Deck is available separately or as a part of a bundle alongside the cooling fan and 11-in-1 docking station, which have also been detailed by JSAUX:

External Cooling Fan [GP0200] ($39.99 USD)

This little fan compatible with PC0104 can be attached to Steam Deck’s upper vent to dissipate the heat quicker by increasing its air volume. A 2 meter-long power cord and male-to-female USB-C adapters are included. When purchased individually, it comes with a small adapter to assemble the fan to the Steam Deck.

11-in-1 Hub for Steam Deck [HB1101] ($69.99 USD, discounted price)

“We offer a complete line of electronic accessories with functional value, ergonomic value and aesthetic value in mind,” writes JSAUX, which describes itself as an electronics accessories supplier that delivers power, data transit, audio/video connectivity, and productivity solutions to the market. “We value the appearance and performance of products with the same emphasis.”

Steam Deck, an all-in-one portable device for PC gaming, is available now, starting at $399 for the entry-level model that includes a carrying case and 64 GB of eMMC storage.

Its expected delivery date is listed as 1 to 2 weeks.
