Alienware is planning to unveil a new gaming monitor with an exceptionally high refresh rate at CES 2023, according to a new image shared by hardware leaker chi11eddog, which seemingly confirms the rear styling for an upcoming display from the company that is capable of refresh rates of up to 500 Hz.

Dubbed the AW2524H, Alienware’s new monitor features a Full HD IPS panel that features a native refresh rate of 480 Hz when connected via DisplayPot, but that number can boosted further to 500 Hz courtesy fo an OC mode.

Alienware’s recent releases include the AW3423DWF, a 34-inch curved QD-OLED gaming monitor that costs USD $1,099.99 or CAD $1,399.99.

“For those seeking increased realism the Alienware 34″ Curved QD-OLED Gaming Monitor delivers stunning picture quality and ultra-smooth frame rates that transform your entire gaming experience,” Alienware writes of the AW3423DWF.

“Just like the previously launched AW3423DW model, this new monitor offers the same impressive picture qualities of Quantum Dot-OLED technology including consistent color uniformity, wide color coverage, deep black tones and incredible brightness.”

CES 2023 will run from Thursday, January 5, 2023, to Sunday, January 8, 2023.
