BIOSTAR Announces List of Motherboards Ready to Run AMD Ryzen 7000X3D Series Processors

BIOSTAR is the latest manufacturer to share a list of motherboards that are compatible with AMD’s newly released Ryzen 7000X3D Series processors, which landed on shelves yesterday in the form of the Ryzen 9 7950X3D ($699) and Ryzen 9 7900X3D ($599), new Zen 4 CPUs with 3D V-Cache for improved performance in gaming and other applications. According to a press release, the X670E VALKYRIE, RACING series B650EGTQ, and B650M-SILVER motherboards are the first batch of motherboards from BIOSTAR to feature compatibility with these CPUs, including support for DDR5, PCIe 5.0, and other advanced features. This combination of new hardware delivers the ultimate computing experience, according to BIOSTAR.

From a BIOSTAR press release:

AMD Ryzen 7000X3D Series processors, which includes the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Ryzen 9 7900X3D, and Ryzen 7 7800X3D processors, offer unparalleled gaming and compute performance thanks to groundbreaking AMD 3D V-Cache technology. Expected to provide top-of-the-line performance for demanding users, BIOSTAR announces that their AMD Socket AM5 motherboards are ready to support these new processors.

Flagship tier X670E VALKYRIE, RACING series B650EGTQ, and B650M-SILVER motherboards are the first batch of compatible BIOSTAR motherboards, ready to take on the shiny new Ryzen 7000X3D Series processors. They are engineered with cutting-edge technology to ensure smooth and efficient performance for high-end gaming and professional applications.

One of the most exciting features of the new processors is AMD 3D V-Cache technology. This technology involves adding an additional layer of L3 cache to the processor, increasing the on-chip memory to up to a huge 144MB. This can significantly improve game performance by reducing effective memory latency, speeding up data access.

The X670E VALKYRIE, RACING B650EGTQ, and B650M-SILVER motherboards have been specifically designed to take advantage of this new technology, ensuring that users will be able to fully utilize the capabilities of the new processors. They also come with a range of advanced features, such as high-speed DDR5 memory support, PCIe 5.0, multiple M.2 slots, and advanced cooling solutions.
