AMD’s new Ryzen 7000 Series processors with 3D V-Cache appear to be a much bigger hit than its standard counterparts. According to numbers shared by TechEpiphany that were derived from Mindfactory, the German electronics retailer was able to sell 360 units of the Ryzen 9 7900X3D at launch, a better turnout than what the Ryzen 9 7900X managed when it debuted in September 2022 (230 units). The Ryzen 9 7950X3D also seems to selling well, remaining sold out at popular retailers that include Newegg. That said, Zen 3 and AM4 appears to be alive and well, with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D topping Mindfactory’s chart with 490 units sold.
