Ahsoka Teaser Trailer Revealed at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023

Disney has revealed a new Ahsoka teaser trailer at its Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 event with the series debut coming in August 2023 to Disney+. The new series sees the return of Anakin Skywalker’s one-time padawan in her own series following her live-action debut in season 2 of The Mandalorian. The Ahsoka teaser trailer gives glimpses of a number of characters that fans of Star Wars Rebels are sure to recognize. From the feisty and mischievous astromech droid, Chopper, to Sabine Wren of Mandalore, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Hera Syndulla, Huyang, and more, the short two-minute clip packs in a lot during its short run.

“The trailer for Ahsoka, coming August 2023 to Disney+, was revealed today during Lucasfilm’s Studio Showcase at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 — a major moment for the title character and her longtime fans. The trailer features Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano, in addition to Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), and our favorite grumpy droid, Chopper, among others, clearly incorporating elements from the beloved Star Wars Rebels animated series and The Mandalorian.”

Although the character Ahsoka Tano made her original animated series debut in The Clone Wars she went on to be an integral part of Rebels. The growing popularity of the character has led to the new live-action series which is sure to further expand on what happened to the Jedi following Anakin’s betrayal as well as the fate of the empire.
