The MSRP of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition continues to drop in European regions, including Germany, where the flagship Ada Lovelace graphics card is now listed for €1,769 on the country’s respective GeForce site. According to price trends that have been shared online, this is a 9% decrease from the original MSRP of the card, which was €1,949. The cheaper MSRP of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition in Europe is owed to newer exchange rates, while the $1,599 MSRP of the GPU remains the same for those in the U.S.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition Pricing (Germany):

  • €1,949 (original MSRP)
  • €1,859 (-4.6%) February
  • €1,819 (-6.7%) March
  • €1,769 (-9.2%) May

From a VideoCardz report:

It is worth noting that there are some discrepancies between EU countries, though. French or Spanish customers might see a 1789 EUR or 1779 EUR price, while Germany has 1769 EUR price currently in place (Germany has the lowest VAT of 19%). The price change is likely not related to NVIDIA’s change of heart, but rather the weakening US dollar exchange rates.

Pricing for Founders Edition is typically applied late, at least compared to what board partners implement sooner. The RTX 4090 can now be found for just ‘just’ 1644 EUR in Germany, so that’s over 300 EUR cheaper than at launch.
