GIGABYTE X670, B650, and A620 AMD AM5 Motherboards Gain Support for 24 GB and 48 GB DDR5 Memory Modules

GIGABYTE has announced the release of a new beta BIOS update that brings support for 24 GB and 48 GB DDR5 memory modules to its AMD AM5 motherboards (i.e., X670, B650, and A620). Maximum memory across four DIMMs now goes up to 192 GB, while two DIMMs can support up to 96 GB of memory. The previous maximums were 128 GB and 64 GB, respectively.

GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd, a leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards, and hardware solutions, announced today that its AMD AM5 platform with X670, B650 and A620 motherboards now support 24GB and 48GB DDR5 memory modules after a BIOS update. This update increases the maximum RAM support up to 192GB across four DIMMs, and up to 96GB across two DIMMs from the previous maximums of 128GB and 64GB, respectively.
