PlayStation has announced that it will be hosting a new PlayStation Showcase on Wednesday, May 24 that promises “a wealth of new games and new IP” for PlayStation 5 consoles and the PS VR2, its modern-generation VR headset. The post from Sid Shuman (Senior Director, SIE Content Communications) doesn’t include any specifics on what will be shown, but industry insiders that include VGC’s Andy Robinson have heavily suggested that Konami will be headlining the show, with rumored releases that include a new Metal Gear game. This PlayStation Showcase will be streamed via YouTube and Twitch and last “a bit over an hour.”
