Genvid Entertainment has released a new trailer for Silent Hill: Ascension, a new interactive streaming series based on Konami’s horror franchise that is set for release in 2023. The trailer, which includes over a minute of footage, doesn’t do the greatest job of explaining how “players” will get involved to shape the canon of Silent Hill—something that Konami promised during the Silent Hill showcase in October—or any technical details, although Genvid CEO Jacob Navok has shared some new insight about the project on Twitter, confirming that viewers will be able to tune in live to save characters who react to the audience’s input in real-time, among other novel features. Genvid also released a new piece of artwork for Silent Hill: Ascension today that teases one of its monsters.
