From an ASUS press release:

Creator-ready performance

ProArt Station PD500TE has been engineered to accelerate every creative workflow, with the up to 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and up to 128 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory delivering silky-smooth multitasking. It is perfect for everything from photo and video editing to 3D modeling, rendering and animation, driven by its pro-grade 16 GB NVIDIA RTX A4000 or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics.

It’s also equipped with an up to 4 TB PCI Express (PCIe) 4.0 x4 SSD and an up to 4 TB hard disk drive, providing enough fast, capacious storage for any creative task.

Ultra-quiet operation

A new thermal design paired with the high-performance CPU fan enables ProArt Station PD500TE to unleash full performance. Operating noise is kept down to below 40 dB at full load — or as quiet as a library — while improved cooling ensures a stable system to eliminate slowdowns, application crashes, and unexpected shutdowns.

Specifically, PD500TE employs a multizone cooling design that promotes internal airflow and provides more breathing room for essential components like the CPU, GPU and PSU. This means hot air is efficiently directed outside, lowering the CPU and GPU temperatures for maximum performance.

As well as operating quietly at full speed, PD500TE is all but silent when idle, generating a mere 27 dB of noise — as soft as a whisper.

Assured software compatibility

For creatives, software is key. That’s why ASUS performs extensive tests and also invests in comprehensive Independent Software Vendor (ISV) certification processes to ensure ProArt Station PD500TE works as expected with professional applications from the world’s leading software companies.

This ensures that key tools from the likes of Adobe and Autodesk are guaranteed to run smoothly PD500TE for very best user experiences — making it the perfect choice for those who demand smooth, uninterrupted productivity and creativity.

Natively creative

ProArt Station PD500TE has been engineered from the ground up to for creators, so it’s packed with features that make it the native creative choice.

Creator-friendly innovations include ASUS Lumiwiz, an innovative module embedded in the front chassis that illuminates a pair of light bars to indicate status of the CPU, GPU and more — offering at-a-glance insights into performance and rendering progress, including a blinking blue light that indicates when the load exceeds 90%. And it’s a cinch to customize the colors via the intuitive ProArt Creator Hub app.

PD500TE is also able to deliver thoughtful notifications to keep creators updated on rendering progress, sending an Outlook email or Teams message when tasks are complete. This clever feature provides the freedom to get on with other tasks, leading to a more productive day.

The new powerhouse also comes with ProArt Creator Hub, the one-stop portal from which users can monitor PD500TE’s status, adjust personal settings or optimize workflow. The PC is finessed with nuanced design touches, such as a latched power button that prevents accidental shutdowns in the middle of a work session, as well as an integrated carrying handle.
