Seagate has announced that the FireCuda 540 PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSD is now available for purchase in 1 TB ($179.99) and 2 TB ($299.99) capacities. Users can expect sequential read and write speeds of up to 10,000 MB/s, although Seagate has warned that a heat sink is necessary for optimal performance.
