New alleged CPU-Z and Cinebench tests have revealed that the 14th Gen Intel Core i7-14700K processor is, perhaps unsurprisingly, faster than its current i7-13700K counterpart, a CPU with eight Performance cores and eight Efficient cores that can currently be had for around $400 at popular retailers. Intel’s new chip, which is a refresh of Raptor Lake, appears to offer up to 18.2% faster multi-threaded performance and up to 4.2% faster single-core performance, according to the benchmarks that were spotted by @harukaze5719 and @wxnod.

14th Gen Intel Core i7-14700K vs. i7-13700K

  • CPU-Z: +3.8% (ST) & +18.2% (MT)
  • Cinebnech: +4.2% (ST) & +16.9% (MT)

If this score is genuine, it would mean that the Core i7-14700K gets 905 points in CPU-Z single-core test and 14965 in multi-threaded. The Cinebench R23 test gives 2192 points and 36296 points respectively. Here is how it stacks up against the existing Core i7-13700K with 8 Performance and 8 Efficient cores.
