Remedy Entertainment has announced that Alan Wake 2 will now be released on Friday, October 27, 2023, marking a 10-day delay for the new sequel coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC exclusively via the Epic Games Store. In a post on X, Remedy explained that Alan Wake 2’s launch was being moved from October 17 to 27 because of how packed the month is for new game releases. Assassin’s Creed Mirage (October 12), Forza Motorsport (October 10), and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (October 20) are just a few of the big games coming this October.

An update from the Alan Wake 2 team: we’re moving Alan Wake 2’s launch from October 17 to October 27.

October is an amazing month for game launches and we hope this date shift gives more space for everyone to enjoy their favorite games.

We can’t wait to show you what everyone’s favorite novelist is up to in the Dark Place next week. Thanks for your patience!
