CD PROJEKT has posted a few of the key highlights from its recent investor event, revealing that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has already sold over 3 million copies since its release last week on September 26 for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. According to a pie chart that the @CDPROJEKTRED_IR account shared during the event, 68% of those sales were for the PC version of the game, with 20% and 13% listed for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, respectively. CD PROJEKT mentioned that it had spent over $60 million developing Phantom Liberty and $21 million marketing it, resulting in a total that adds up to about half of what it cost to develop Cyberpunk 2077’s base game.

- According to preliminary data, the production expenditures of Phantom Liberty reached around 275 million PLN, while the global marketing campaign costs were approximately 95 million PLN;
- Project Orion, the upcoming AAA game set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, is currently at a conceptualization stage. CD PROJEKT confirmed that the game will be developed at its CD PROJEKT RED North America studio with support from developers at its Polish studio;
- CD PROJEKT announced the beginning of its collaboration with independent global media company Anonymous Content to create a live-action project set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077.
