XBHD Plug-and-Play Adapter Now Available, Bringing HDMI to the Original Xbox

EON Gaming has announced that the XBHD is now available for purchase at Amazon and EON’s worldwide retail partners, including Rondo Products, Stone Age Gamer, and Games Connection, for $189.99. This is a new plug-and-play adapter for the original Xbox that features 3x LAN/Ethernet ports, a mini-TOSLINK audio jack, and 2x HDMI ports, enabling those who still have a copy of Microsoft’s 2001 console to enjoy Halo: Combat Evolved, Jet Set Radio Future, and other classic games at resolutions of up to 1080i with a clean digital output. The original Xbox only features a proprietary A/V port, Ethernet port, and power port on the back.
