Uh, time to call PETA? Blizzard has refreshed the Diablo IV shop with new items to celebrate the launch of Season of Blood and Diablo IV’s arrival on Steam, revealing a new collection of animal accessories for each class that players can spend their Platinum (read: real money) on. Some of the animals that are being sold include a bear cub for Barbarians, an owl for Druids, a cat thing for Sorcerers, and ferrets for Rogues, but the weirdest of them all, perhaps, is a goat for Necromancers, which, based on its lack of movement, is apparently dead. Necromancers can acquire this cosmetic as part of the “Kid Baphomet” bundle, which costs 1,800 platinum and includes an emote that allows the class to raise a goat at any time, although those wind up dead, too. Blizzard’s Platinum packages include 1,000 Platinum for $9.99 and 2,800 Platinum for $24.99 USD.

Platinum can be exchanged to customize your in-game experience with purchasable cosmetic items from the Shop, used to unlock access to the premium Battle Pass, and Battle Pass Tier Skips. Players can purchase Platinum for local currency and can earn limited amounts through premium Battle Pass rewards. Players have a single Platinum balance across all platforms which can be spent regardless of the platform it was purchased on.
