LG Adds Two New 45-Inch HDR 600 DQHD 200 Hz Ultrawide Monitors to Its Ultragear Gaming Lineup

LG has added two new 45-inch monitors to its Ultragear lineup which include many premium features at competitive prices. The two new 32:9 ultrawide displays, the Ultragear GR65DC and Ultragear GR75DC have a 1500R curvature. Each has a DQHD resolution of 5120×1440 with a 200 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms GtG response time. Both panels support up to 95% DCI-P3 and are VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified. Other features include VRR support with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, PBP (picture-by-picture) or PIP (picture-in-picture), and a headphone jack that supports DTS HP:X. Both have DP 1.4 and HDMI ports while the GR75DC also has a USB Type-C port for additional connectivity.

The Ultragear GR65DC goes for $799.99 while the UltraGear GR75DC is a bit more at $899.99. Both are available for preorder and are expected to begin shipping on November 20. Presently those who preorder the GR75DC can get a GP9 gaming speaker, which normally retails for $399, for free during a promotion that lasts until November 19.

The GR65DC is available to purchase for $799.99 now at LG.com and LG-authorized retailers. For a limited time, customers shopping on LG.com can preorder the LG UltraGear GR75DC for $899.99 and receive an UltraGear GP9 gaming speaker ($399 ARV) along with free expedited shipping.

The newest LG UltraGear models feature a 45-inch 32:9 Ultrawide Dual QHD screen – providing what is the equivalent of two 24-inch 16:9 QHD displays on one monitor at the same time.  Engineered for multi-tasking, the built in PBP (picture by picture) and PIP (picture in picture) features allow users to play console games while simultaneously streaming content on an ultra-wide screen.

Their immersive QHD (5120 x 1440) 1500R curved screens support up to a 200Hz refresh rate and a 1ms (GtG) response time for the smooth, low-latency gaming LG’s UltraGear monitors are known for. The UltraGear GR75DC supports USB Type-C™, DP1.4 and HDMI 2.1 enabling compatibility for a variety of devices. The UltraGear GR65DC does not include a USB Type-C port.

Both models support up to 95% (Typ.) of the DCI-P3 color gamut with VESA DisplayHDRTM 600 delivering dynamic contrast and high-fidelity color.
