Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released on March 21, 2024, according to an updated listing on Steam.
Here’s Capcom’s description for the sequel, which comes over a decade after the original game:
Dragon’s Dogma is a single player, narrative driven action-RPG series that challenges the players to choose their own experience – from the appearance of their Arisen, their vocation, their party, how to approach different situations and more. All of these elements are elevated further through physics technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and the latest in graphics, to create a truly immersive fantasy world in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Hideaki Itsuno, director of Dragon’s Dogma, announced that he was working on a sequel to the 2012 action RPG last year, one that would utilize Capcom’s modern RE ENGINE.
Itsuno, alongside Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, producer for Dragon’s Dogma 2, shared new footage and details for the game today as part of an extended showcase, while a brand-new trailer for the game, which was released shortly after the event, can also be found below.
