Intel has released a new slide deck that claims AMD has been misleading enthusiasts with its Ryzen marketing, which, according to some of the images that Intel used, amounts to snake oil.

The document, which comprises 32 pages, includes a number of “Core Truths” from Intel, such as how AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors may utilize older architectures despite their modern numbering scheme, and the idea that not all cores give the best overall performance:

Core Truth #1

Core Truth #2

Core Truth #3

Core Truth #4

“A playbook that enlightens customers on how the ‘latest technology’ is not always what it seems,” reads a description for Intel’s latest marketing, which was published on December 1.

Intel launched its 14th Gen Intel Core processors in October, revealing a new flagship in the form of the Core i9-14900K/KF: “the world’s fastest desktop processor.”
