Will Joel get beaten to death by a golf club in the next season of The Last of Us? It looks like fans will be getting the answer to that in 2025, as Warner Bros. Discovery has released a new sizzle reel of its upcoming shows that can confirm more episodes of the Naughty Dog adaptation from Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann will be out during that time frame.

Here’s the new video from Max, which features The Last of Us at 1:26 as part of a segment that teases what’s coming to the streaming service in 2025:

Other series that the video showcases include:

The Sympathizer (2024): Based on Viet Thanh Nguyen’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name, The Sympathizer is an espionage thriller and cross-culture satire about the struggles of a half-French, half-Vietnamese Communist spy during the final days of the Vietnam War and his resulting exile in the United States.

The Regime (2024): The story of one year within the walls of the palace of a modern European regime as it begins to unravel, starring Kate Winslet.

House of the Dragon S2 (Summer 2024): Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, this epic series tells the story of House Targaryen.

True Detective: Night Country (January 14): When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Jodie Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Kali Reis) dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.

Mazin, the showrunner behind The Last of Us, revealed in December that production for The Last of Us Season 2 would begin next year, in February.
